These Terms apply to the Bad Coach app, bad-coach.app, account functions, Pro+ Online Backup, support and feedback channels, and related digital content and features.

Depending on platform, the App Store, Google Play, Apple's Standard EULA, store rules for in-app purchases and subscriptions, and the privacy and security rules of the relevant platform also apply.

If a feature is not yet available on all platforms, the relevant terms apply once you use that feature. Bad Coach grows, falls over, stands up, and keeps yelling.

Bad Coach is a satirical step challenge app. It can remind you to move, show progress, trigger roasts, award badges, set missions, and point out with some hostility that excuses are not a sport.

Roasts, badges, score, levels, streaks, Nemesis notes, Vendetta events, and other comments are satirical motivation. They are not an objective evaluation of you or your worth.

The app is meant to entertain, motivate, and annoy. It is not your doctor, trainer, therapist, nutritionist, or reasonable friend.

Bad Coach may improve, change, remove, or replace features, content, events, badges, texts, layouts, challenges, and mechanics when useful for operation, safety, store requirements, or product quality.

Use Bad Coach only when movement is safe for you. If you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, medical concerns, an illness, an injury, or uncertainty, stop and seek professional help.

Bad Coach does not diagnose, create a training plan, or monitor medical risks. The app works with step counts, goals, progress logic, and satirical feedback.

You decide if, when, and how much you walk. A daily goal or roast is not an order to overexert yourself, ignore traffic, fall down stairs, or do heroic nonsense while sick.

Bad Coach is not an emergency button. In medical emergencies, contact local emergency services or medical help immediately.

You may use Bad Coach only if you are allowed to do so under the rules of your country, store, and platform. If you are a minor, parental or guardian consent may be required.

Some functions work locally without an account. Pro+ Online Backup, account deletion, website email codes or compatible app confirmation links, Google Sign-In, and Sign in with Apple require account access as described for those features. Account-related support may require a Bad Coach account or assignable email address. The public website feedback form requires no Bad Coach account and does not use that account.

You are responsible for accurate information and for having access to the email address or login provider you use.

Bad Coach does not run its own password login. Website account access uses an exactly six-digit numeric email code; compatible app flows can use a confirmation link. Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In remain available.

Bad Coach can be offered as a free variant with ads, as Pro, and as Pro+. Specific prices, terms, availability, and store conditions are shown in the relevant store or app.

Free means Bad Coach can continue to be used, but with ads and without the comfort of the paid variants.

Pro unlocks full local app access where the relevant platform and app version support it. This may include step bets, roasts, score, levels, Nemesis progress, achievements, and local app functions.

Pro+ includes full app access plus Pro+ Online Backup. Pro+ is not an infinite cloud wonderland, but a defined backup save state for Bad Coach progress.

Pro and Pro+ are yearly in-app subscriptions. The yearly subscription renews automatically until cancelled unless the relevant store says otherwise.

Management, cancellation, refunds, payment data, invoices, and store accounts are handled through the App Store or Google Play. Bad Coach cannot cancel a store subscription for you.

The price shown in the store is authoritative if region, currency, taxes, store promotions, or store rules differ from website prices.

After cancellation, paid features usually remain active until the end of the paid period unless the store states otherwise.

On iOS, Bad Coach uses Apple's Standard EULA and no custom EULA. On Google Play, Google Play rules also apply.

Pro+ Online Backup stores a save state of your Bad Coach progress. It does not replace a full device backup and does not promise continuous multi-device mirroring.

The backup can include progress, achievements, score, level, logbook, challenge target steps, final challenge steps, and challenge status.

With a usable account session, the current backup may be saved remotely automatically after relevant progress changes. You can also save manually and restore manually later.

A backup can overwrite older save states. Restoring a save state can replace local progress accordingly. Check what you are doing before panic-tapping restore.

Cancelling Pro+ does not automatically delete your Online Backup. You can request deletion separately through /account/delete, even if Pro+ has expired.

Bad Coach may offer events, leagues, Vendetta mechanics, badges, progress stages, seasonal actions, global score layers, and other game layers.

Those contents are part of the satirical product logic. They may be time-limited, experimental, regionally different, platform-dependent, or version-dependent.

Badges, progress values, rankings, pranger elements, and event texts do not create a claim to any reward outside the app.

A public Vendetta profile is optional. If you enable it, a separate public display name, public participant ID, country, ranking, points, season history, and earned badges can be available through stable public links; your account email and authentication identity remain private.

Before joining a Vendetta edition, choose the country carefully: the selected edition country is permanent and cannot be changed after joining.

You can manage the separate name and disable the public profile again at /en/profile. Shared profile links then stop exposing the public projection, without changing your authentication identity. The verified account deletion path is /account/delete.

If an event ends, changes, or needs technical recalculation, the display may change. That is product operation, not the end of civilization.

Use the website form at /support/feedback for one-way general support reports, bug reports, or feature ideas. If you need a reply, contact support@bad-coach.app. Verified account and deletion actions use /account/delete.

Briefly describe what happened, the device, operating system, app version, and affected store. The clearer the report, the less support has to read tea leaves.

Please do not send passwords, payment data, ID documents, diagnoses, or medical details. Support needs the bug, not your entire life as an attachment.

Email support is a fallback, not a live emergency service. Replies can take time, especially when store processes, Apple, Google, or technical checks are involved. The website feedback form itself does not provide replies.

Use Bad Coach lawfully and without abusing the app, website, support, login functions, advertising, or Pro+ Online Backup.

Do not attack systems, send automated mass requests, scrape, bypass paywalls, manipulate store status, abuse support, spam, impersonate others, reverse engineer beyond legally permitted limits, or interfere with security mechanisms.

Do not send unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harmful, malware-laced, or obviously unacceptable content.

Fair use means: use the app like a human. If your script does more steps than you, that is not the point.

Bad Coach is operated with reasonable effort, but there is no claim to permanent, error-free, uninterrupted, or unchanged availability.

Outages, maintenance, store reviews, platform changes, network problems, database issues, third-party failures, security measures, or updates can temporarily limit functions.

Updates may be required to fix security issues, meet store requirements, correct bugs, or improve features.

If you permanently refuse updates, individual functions may stop working. The app does not owe eternal compatibility with every old device and operating system.

Bad Coach is provided as a digital app with satirical character. Mandatory statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

To the extent legally permitted, we are not liable for damage caused by ignoring health limits, misusing stores, losing your device, failing to secure login access, misunderstanding support information, or treating roasts as medical instructions.

For slight negligence, liability is limited to breach of material contractual obligations and to typically foreseeable damage, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, and mandatory statutory claims remains unaffected.

Bad Coach, texts, roasts, designs, badges, brand elements, graphics, logos, app structure, and other content are protected and may not be copied, published, sold, rebuilt, or misused without permission.

You receive only the right to use the app within these Terms, store rules, and applicable license conditions.

You may send feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. We may use them for product improvements without creating a claim to payment, attribution, or control.

Personal data is governed by the Bad Coach Privacy Policy. It explains in detail what is processed for the website, app, account, steps, advertising, Pro+ Online Backup, support, and deletion.

The Terms explain what you may do and what Bad Coach provides. The Privacy Policy explains what happens with personal data. They belong together, but they are not the same thing.

Bad Coach may update these Terms when app functions, prices, stores, third-party providers, legal requirements, security needs, or product scope change.

The current version is published on bad-coach.app. Material changes should be made reasonably visible.

If you continue to use Bad Coach after a change, the updated Terms apply to the extent legally permitted. If you disagree, you can stop using the app and cancel subscriptions through the relevant store.

You can stop using Bad Coach at any time, delete the app, remove local data, or request account deletion through /account/delete.

Subscription cancellation is separate and must be handled through the App Store or Google Play. Deleting the app does not automatically end an active store subscription.

For violations of these Terms, abuse, security risks, or legal requirements, we may restrict functions, limit support, or suspend accounts.

Store purchase history, invoices, and refund processes stay with the relevant store and are not removed by a Bad Coach account deletion.

If individual provisions are invalid, the rest of these Terms remains effective where possible. The statutory rule applies instead of the invalid provision.

Austrian law applies unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
